We are getting many inquiries.  Some from groups and many from individual students hoping to connect with other students.  We will do our best to introduce interested individuals to each other.   In the meantime, if you scroll to the bottom of this page, there is a link to our FaceBook page, which we created for interested students to find each other.

 

To make answering your questions easier, I am posting information about the house here.

The house has 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths.  No bedroom has its own bath.

One bedroom is HUGE (12' x 22') and accommodates two people (great for a couple)... The other 3 are good-sized rooms. 

 

All bedrooms have full-sized beds and are furnished with the basics, including bed sheets and one set of towels.  One of the 3 good-sized rooms is quirky.. it is two smaller rooms connecting to each other.  The current tenant has their bed and dresser in one part, and a desk and shelves (small study) in the other part.  It has a small walk-in closet.

The bathrooms are not big.

There are hardwood floors throughout, except the quirky bedroom upstairs... It has beige carpeting.

There is a large living area that is also furnished.  The kitchen is gally style and comes with a dishwasher...  We also supplied the house with some basic kitchen items including plates, utensils, etc.

 

There is a washer/dryer set in the basement, and lots of storage down there.  It is not a finished basement.  The W/D is free for you to use... no coins required.

There is central A/C, and the heat is gas.  All rooms have ceiling fans.

There is a nice driveway where a few cars can park.  There is a lovely rose garden in the front, which we will be refreshed after the current tenants move out.

There is a nice backyard for entertaining.

There are currently two people in the house, so we are renting by the room until August.

​

The rent for the entire house is $3,490 per month plus utilities for four people and $3,840 per month plus utilities for 5 people.  If 5 residents are interested, two can fit comfortably in the huge bedroom.  Some roommates have chosen to pay different amounts when a certain room is desired or shared (e.g., huge room upstairs).​​

To sign on, we are asking for 1st and last months rent plus the equivalent of one month's rent security deposit.  The lease will start on the 15th of August and run one year, and end on the 14th of August, the following year.  Since we are renting directly to students, there are NO AGENCY FEES.

​Our preference is to rent to one group.  We will consider individual applicants for rooms if we do not find a group.  The neighbors are quiet, and on one side they are a lovely family with young children.  As such, we do not want noisy tenants. 

​

No pets.  NO SMOKING on the property.​​

To apply, first fill out the application form on our Contact Tab.  Once approved, we will send you/your group a lease to review and sign.  Once payment for the first month and last months rents plus the security deposit are made, we will then confirm and sign the lease.

We plan to rent this house to the first approved group who signs the lease

and pays first month, last month, and the security deposit. 

We do not rent individual rooms.  The lease is for the entire house.

 

We cannot just "hold" the house for anyone.
